The Artist

My work is based on historical percussion instruments, such as the udu, slit drum, sistrum, xylophone, rasp and many others.  Utilizing this wealth of forms, I have incorporated my own ideas to create unique, functional works of art.

            Inherent to musical instruments is interaction.  Through this interaction comes union, a bonding between player and instrument.
